Dr. Malika Bendouda is a Algerian philosopher, researcher in political thought, and former minister of Culture and Arts in Algeria, born on March 19, 1975, in Oran, Algeria. She has made substantial contributions to the fields of philosophy and cultural development in Algeria. Dr. Bendouda earned her PhD in Philosophy, focusing on "Hannah Arendt's Philosophical Thought, graduating with distinction. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature. Malika Bendouda has published several articles and books such as "the political philosophy of Hannah Arendt" and "what is culture?",
From 2020 to 2021, Dr. Bendouda served as the Minister of Culture and Arts in Algeria, contributing significantly to the nation's cultural policies and initiatives. She has been a founding member of the Fujairah Philosophy Circle since 2021, where she continues to foster philosophical discourse.
As a presenter and moderator of the television program "Philo Talk" on “Aljazairia TV One”, Dr. Bendouda hosted 24 episodes that delved into topics intertwining philosophy, society, and politics, in order to popularize as much as possible philosophical thought.
From 2016 to 2020, she has been the head of the Tipaza office for the Algerian Association for Philosophical Studies. Dr. Bendouda is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tipaza.
