Ioanna Kucuradi

Ioanna Kuçuradi was born on October 4, 1936 in Istanbul, Turkey. She is Professor of Philosophy at Maltepe University and Holder of a UNESCO Chair in Philosophy and Human Rights (since 1998). She founded and headed the Department of Philosophy at Hacettepe University (1969-2003). She served as FISP Secretary General (1988-1998), President (1998-2003), and Honorary President (since 2008). She is President of the Philosophical Society of Turkey and the International Institute of Philosophy (Paris).
