William McBride

William Leon McBride (B.A., Georgetown University, 1959; Ph.D., Yale University, 1964) is Arthur G. Hansen Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University, USA, and the Immediate Past President of FISP. He is also former President of the North American Society for Social Philosophy; co-founder and former Director of the North American Sartre Society; and past President of the Société Américaine de Philosophie de Langue Française. He has authored, edited, and co-edited 19 books and published well over 250 journal articles, book chapters, and reviews.
