Biography
Asha Mukherjee (Dubey) is a Former Professor in Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, India. She was a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellow (1984-85) at Indiana University, US, and a Visiting Professor at several foreign and Indian universities. Her expertise includes logic, analytical ethics, applied ethics, Jaina and Buddhist philosophy, religious studies, and gender studies. She has published several edited books and journals, over 100 articles, and book chapters. Currently, she is engaged in interdisciplinary work on Global Ethics, Peace Studies, Living Religion, Feminist Thought, eco-environmental, social dimensions, and creativity.
